Welcome to Harlan Bakeries Blending facility located in Effingham, IL. Our blending plant was acquired in 2008 and is considered to be one of the largest and most efficient bakery /food ingredient dry blending plants in North America.
Drawing upon our deep experience in manufacturing frozen bakery products we decided to enter the bakery mix and food ingredient blending business with a slight twist to our competitors. Rather than offer a large array of standard “same as everyone else” products we custom formulate and blend to our customers’ specific needs. Our ideal customer uses in excess of 1 million lbs. annually of a specific product and either owns the formula or is willing to work with our formulators to develop the formula.
